L.O.V.E. empowers young women of diverse backgrounds to recognize their innate strengths and achieve personal and professional goals through mentorship and health education. Our Youth Council - Leading with L.O.V.E. amplifies student voices by advocating for mental health resources, exploring college and career opportunities, and engaging in civic leadership. Through mentorship, community service, and hands-on collaboration, we equip young leaders with the skills and networks to thrive. We invite you to help shape the next generation of changemakers.

Skyla Moran
President
Skyla Moran is a high school freshman passionate about medicine, the performing arts, and leadership. Born and raised in New York City with Puerto Rican roots, she value both cultural diversity and the importance of hard work. Her dream is to become a doctor, driven by a strong desire to help others and give back to the world for the blessings it has granted her. Outside of academics, she loves dance, language learning, volleyball, and cooking because they allow her to express myself. She also take on leadership roles, whether in school projects or extracurricular activities where she enjoys motivating and supporting others to achieve their best with confidence. Known for her respect and thoughtfulness, she approaches challenges and opportunities with determination, compassion, and a drive for excellence.

Ayesha Choudhury
Vice President
Ayesha is a dedicated high school freshman with a passion for medicine and leadership. Born and raised in New York City, her Bengali and Muslim background has deeply shaped her approach to leadership. Raised in a diverse community, she values empathy, respect, and inclusivity, and is inspired by her faith's focus on helping others. Ayesha is determined to pursue a career in medicine, hoping to make a positive difference in people's lives.
She believes that leadership is about uplifting others and creating an environment where everyone feels encouraged to reach their full potential. Ayesha recognizes the unique struggles faced by women, particularly Latinas, and is passionate about empowering them to overcome these challenges. She firmly believes that women can achieve anything they set their minds to. As Vice President, Ayesha looks forward to fostering growth, learning, and connection among her peers. Whether coordinating events or creating agendas, she is committed to organizing with attention to detail while ensuring that everyone’s voice is heard.
Aligned with the mission of the L.O.V.E. Mentoring Program, Ayesha is passionate about mentorship, empowerment, and health education. Though early in her leadership journey, Ayesha has already made a positive impact by organizing study groups, offering peer support, and serving as a source of encouragement for others facing challenges. Excited about her future in leadership, Ayesha is dedicated to fostering growth and creating opportunities for others to succeed, including herself.

Zoe Santos
Chairwoman
Zoe is a dedicated freshman in high school with a strong passion for medicine and learning about different cultures. Born and raised in New York, with an Ecuadorian background, she takes pride in her cultural heritage and is eager to explore the diverse world around her. In addition to cultural exploration, she has a deep interest in medical-related TV shows, fascinated by the intricate details of healthcare and the human body. I also enjoy watching documentaries, and dream of traveling abroad to learn more about the world. This combination of curiosity and interest keeps her engaged in a world of knowledge and always ready to learn more. As a council member Zoe's enthusiasm for learning and exploring helps her connect with people and offer new perspectives. These qualities make her a empathetic and effective leader who is always ready to participate and inspire people.

Jacqueline Ramales Flores
Social Media Manager
Jacqueline Ramales Flores is a Mexican-American born in New York, interested in making a difference in the ongoing issues that affect those pursuing the "American Dream" promised by this country. She appreciates the importance of leadership and the ability to be able to create a community that cares about the wellbeing of others and its environment. She is very compassionate about helping others succeed and helping them feel heard. She enjoys language arts and traditional art, especially pieces that speak powerfully to its audience and evokes strong emotions. Her interests help her navigate through life especially when things get tough. She believes that every experience is a story, each one offering a unique lesson, like a lesson from a book. For Jacqueline, memories become art, as they bring up profound emotions, even without words. She is determined to succeed and create something honest, a hotspot for others who have a compassion to spread positivity.

Khloe Sylvester
Recruitment Chair
Khloe Olivia is a freshman at TYWLS Manhattan with a passion for acting and singing. She is an active member of the L.O.V.E. Youth Council and is deeply involved in a variety of extracurricular activities that reflect her diverse talents and passions. Khloe plays rugby with Play Rugby USA, takes acting classes with the Harlem School of the Arts, and sings in her school choir, finding joy and community in music and performance. Outside of these structured hobbies, Khloe is an avid book-lover, especially mystery and romance genres. She aspires to become a criminal psychiatrist and envisions opening her own practice while living in a penthouse in New York City.
