Building a Brighter Future for the Next Generation of Women Leaders

Originally from Cali, Colombia, Dr. Claudia Espinosa moved to New York City in 2000 with a vision to set new standards of personal, professional, and academic excellence. She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology, both earned with Magna Cum Laude honors from the City University of New York. She also completed a Master’s in Public Administration at New York University’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, an Ed.M. in School Leadership from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a Doctorate in Education from NYU. She is currently pursuing an MBA at Columbia University.

Beyond her extensive academic achievements, Dr. Espinosa is the founder of Latinas On the Verge of Excellence (L.O.V.E.) Mentoring Program, an organization dedicated to supporting and empowering young Latinas. Through L.O.V.E., she works to increase high school graduation rates, college enrollment, and healthy lifestyles among Latina youth.

Dr. Espinosa is driven by a deep commitment to justice, fairness, and the belief that love and compassion must be integral to the practice of justice.
